On April 22, 2007, Smokin' Joe and Bahama Mama met with the Bedias members at Yankee's Tavern in Carlos, Texas.  For those of you who have never been there, as we had not been, it is a really cool place to gather and have a good time.  It's in the country, and there is plenty of room for camping, etc.  We went on a Sunday, around noon, and there were several Christian ministries who were just finishing up with a Sunday Biker Church service.  After the service, they served a free buffet style lunch for everyone to enjoy (and it was good).  There were several events that took place.  They had a band singing and playing Christian music.  They awarded trophies to the best bikes and other categories.  There was a small chopper that was auctioned off (I believe three times) with the proceeds going to the Christian ministries.  They also handed out plenty of free goodies such as t-shirts, caps, knives, motorcycle cleaning accessories, a Harley Davidson cooler, and several other items which were donated to them.  People mixed and mingled, sat on blankets having picnics, and just gathered around the large area outside and had a great time.  It was certainly a very enjoyable trip and the atmosphere couldn't be beat.  Below are several pictures that Bahama Mama took to share with those of you who may want to cruise on over there sometime and check it out.
