On November, 10, 2007, Smokin' Joe and I rode to Waco for Sonic Bike Night which the Waco CMA sponsors once a month.  We enjoyed fellowship with friends and others.  Smokin' Joe actually decided to participate in the bike games and brought home a 2nd place trophy in the Board Game.  This is where they set up a 1x4 inch board about 30' long.  The object, of course, is to stay on the board the entire distance.  Now, Smokin' Joe has never participated in ANY bike games before, so he was really happy to win the 2nd place trophy!  He also participated in the slow race, but there were crotch rockets there, and the crotch rockets can really go slow.  So, there is a lot of competition there.  Anyway, it was an enjoyable evening out.  It was the first time that I rode my new motorcycle at night.  I was running 101.6 degree fever and not feeling well, plus I have night blindness, plus the wind was gusting pretty hard, so I was praying all the way home that I wouldn't fall asleep and that I would make it home safely, which I did.  After that, I decided that it was in my best interest not to try to ride at night unless it is here in town... short distances!!  Anyway, below are a few pictures from the event.
