Well the Gulf Coast Storm Riders, excuse me, Ghost Riders made another road trip on July 28, 2007.

Pistol and I were supposed to meet up with Trouble at 9:30 AM, in Manvel, for breakfast.  Apparently, Trouble couldn’t contain himself and showed up at the restaurant at 8:00 AM, and proceeded to drink more coffee than a Starbucks addict on crack.  We finally hooked up at the restaurant at 9:30 AM and had a quick bite, while Trouble stared and waited for us to finish so we could get on the road.

We headed toward Republic Harley Davidson for the Tattoo, Burnout, and Bikini contest only to run into a brief thunderstorm on the way. Believe me, we’re used to the rain down here.

We got to Republic, where Machine met up with us.  He had caught a cab to the event since his bike was still in the shop.

There were lots of really nice bikes, munchies, beer, and of course bikinis.  Riptide likey bikinis!

Around 2:00 PM, the Outcasts made it down from Humble and hang out.

We headed across the highway to eat at a Cajun restaurant called Razzoo’s.  While chilling out there, the bottom fell out of the sky.  We hung out in the restaurant and visited for a while, and the rain finally stopped.  So, it was time to get on the sloppy roads.  I often wonder why I ever wash my bike anymore.

The drag races we were going to go see in Angleton were cancelled, so we headed to P.J.’s, in Pearland, for a few refreshments.  Around 5:00 PM, the Outcasts figured it was about time for them to head back to Humble.  We were glad they made it down.  The Ghost Riders hung out for about an hour longer and decided to call it quits.

If your city ever runs into a drought, let us know.  I’m sure we could manage to bring some rain to you.  All we have to do is wash our bikes and head your way.  It’s almost a sure thing.

Laterz.
