At the request of one of our former Sons of Texas members who happens to be in the military, I have removed this article.  I thought that it was a heartfelt tribute to a soldier killed in the line of duty; however, this person felt that it was inappropriate.  Therefore, all of the pictures that showed our community's heartfelt support and sorrow have been removed.  I hope that some of you were able to see them prior to them being removed, as I was very proud of the way that our small towns had pulled together to support this family in their time of grief.  I apologize if anything in the article or any of the pictures caused anyone any distress.  All but about 3 of the pictures that were posted were either in the local newspapers or on the local television stations.  However, in an effort to be respectful, I have done as this person requested, and removed the article and photos.  Again, I apologize for any grief that this article may have caused.  It was intended to be a heartfelt tribute to a fallen soldier, not to cause any further pain or anguish.
