Trip to Hill Country - March 8 - 9, 2008 |

I have always loved being around the ocean or the Gulf. I can tell you that if there was a beach with waves in the hill country, that’s where I’d be living. Probably one of the most scenic and beautiful rides I’ve ever been on. Me and Pistol met up with Trouble, Sticker, and Sticker’s girlfriend Stacy at Goe Harley Davidson, in Angleton, and then the fun began. I guess the best word to describe that morning would be Brrrrrrrrr! It was cold, but the thrill of a road trip made it a little more bearable. We stopped and had some authentic Mexican tacos and then got on the road. The journey was just as awesome as the destination. We met up with several members of the Humble Outcasts chapter, Smokin’ Joe and Bahama Mama at the Koyote Ranch in Medina. We chilled that night, in some really cool cabins, got up fairly early and got one hell of a ride in. Still a little cold, but no problem for the hardcore riders in the S.O.T.. We stopped in Luckenbach and got some great pictures. We rode those hills for quite a while. It was absolutely beautiful. All our chapters had a great time. I’m ready to do it again. Laterz. Riptide |
