The Sons of Texas MTA celebrated their 3rd Anniversary on
Saturday, July 12, 2008.
The celebration took place at Hall’s Bayou Ranch’s hunting lodge. SOT
members were able to fish, ride their 4-wheelers, practice at the
shooting range, and just sit around and enjoy socializing with one
another. I believe the pictures below speak for themselves. The menu for
the day consisted of hamburgers and hotdogs along with a variety of
snack foods. Sparky (the newest member to the Gulf Coast Ghost Riders)
graciously brought along several links of deer sausage to throw on the
pit and boy was it good. Earlier that afternoon one of Hall’s Bayou
Ranch’s hunting members stopped by and left a bag of fresh filleted
trout that he caught that morning. The trout was seasoned and cooked up
to serve with the rest of our meal. If anyone walked way from the table
that evening hungry, it was his or her own fault. That evening one of
our newest members Sticker of the Gulf Coast Ghost Riders entertained
everyone with songs that he had written. Everyone had a great time and
is looking forward to the annual Christmas party.
