In my endeavor to find the ultimate background picture that would go well with our gunfighter mascot, I ran across a website that had an old western cemetery. Instantly, I knew that this was the perfect picture. I emailed a gentleman named Pete, who the website belonged to, and explained to him who I was, and what organization I belonged to.  Pete promptly responded to my email, and he granted me permission to use his picture. At this time, I would like to express my gratitude to Pete for allowing us the opportunity to use the cemetery picture he took. Anyone interested in checking out some really cool pictures that Pete took, can do so at http://www.pete.at/. The cemetery picture can be found on his website in the Western Towns in Almeria, Spain page. Below is the background information Pete emailed to me about the cemetery. Once again I would like to thank Pete for his kind generosity and hope that everyone enjoys his website and our background picture.

Email from Pete:

I made the photograph September 2005 in the province of Almeria in Spain - in the former western town (film studio) "Mini Hollywood" about 40 km north of the city of Almeria and a few km south of the town of Tabernas. "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "A Few Dollars More" etc. starring Clint Eastwood was filmed there.
"Once Upon a Time in the Wild West" (Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson) was also made in that area. There's another western town a few km from Tabernas called "Mini Texas". The Tabernas desert is the only real desert that we have here in Europe.
