By Bahama Mama

It was our second Christmas together,
We went to exchange gifts
With a friend of my wife's
Whom she'd known forever.

While at our friend's house,
My wife handed me this tiny little box
As she sat there quite as a mouse.

I was somewhat confused.
Inside was a set of keys
And a note that read
"Go to the garage, please".

But much to my surprise,
In front of me was a huge gift
That left me speechless,
I could hardly believe my eyes.

She had bought me a motorcycle,
Not the Harley that I'd always dreamed of
But a very nice Honda Nighthawk 750...
It was like I gift from above.

I was speechless and could not begin to talk
As I stared at the bike
It seemed like a dream
And I fought with my legs to be able to walk.

It did not seem real,
So I walked over and took a feel.
As I sat on the bike's seat,
I thought..."my wife is so sweet".

She had managed to sign all the papers
and hide the bike out of sight
and kept it a secret
until the time was just right.
